Hack, this is just what I needed to read tonight (my time). Having just closed a file (in disgust) of some non-fiction thing I’m working on, I checked in to see if you had had your coffee and written your blog yet (morning your time).

I was disgusted with my own work because I am bogged down in too much detailed explanation and I can’t for the life of me work out what is needed and what isn’t.

Now I know it is SCS.

Thank you. Now I know a name for this disease, I may be able to find some way to cope (I take note that there is no cure).

(And I will NOT describe my office, where I am in the midst of a slaughter of an SC or several – maybe a feast is in order soon; nor will I describe our shed. Or our living room, in which many potentially useful things reside, while ‘waiting to go to the shed’ for storage. I will NOT mention those things).
