Wow – find that editor and bottle his/her essence! Or at least have him/her teach the next generation of journalists.
I saw the opposite example in one of our local weekend papers, where the editor was obviously oblivious to glaring spelling and grammatical errors of a journalist’s report of a very exciting event about young science students. It was such a shame it was a badly-written report as these things don’t usually get much newspaper space.
SO YES, LET’S HEAR IT FOR GOOD EDITORS, AND may they be easily found when we need them.
