Great post, Hack. I can remember sending manuscripts to publishers and wondering if they saw any worth in my offerings. It was gratifying when some did, and disappointing when others didn’t, but I finally realized that quality is sometimes not recognized because there are so many factors in publishing. One may have a great publishable work, but if the timing is not right, that work may not be a part of the equation.
