i’m going to disagree with the previous commenters that self-doubt is more prevalent in people involved in the arts…because i see that self-doubt is evident in the guy who didn’t approach the pretty girl to ask her to the dance because he didn’t think she’d be interested. or the woman who didn’t apply for the job she could probably do with her hands tied behind her back and one eye closed simply because she didn’t meet ALL of the job specifications. or the driven and charismatic man who chose not to run for office because he didn’t think he’d be able to affect real change.

everyone’s got doubt. and if everyone acquiesced to the tiny voice in the back of their head that said, “nah, you’re not good enough”, the world would probably stop spinning on its axis.
