I can sure sympathize, Hack. After my novel was complete and in the hands of my agent, we both decided it would be better in third person. You can’t just change every “I” to “she.” Every sentence has to be reviewed and sometimes whole paragraphs need to be reworked. It took months, but in the end, I’m really happy with the outcome.
