These are pictures of a multi-million Kwacha mansion belonging to Malawi's Energy Minister Goodall Gondwe.

The sumptuous mansion is in the capital city Lilongwe. It was constructed when he was Minister of Finance between 2004 and 2009.

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is currently investigating Gondwe in relation to the manner in which procurement of the 2005/06 Farm Input Subsidy Programme was conducted.

The ACB is investigating Gondwe on the subsidy programme which was allegedly marred by problems such as inadequate coupons, favouritism in the distribution of coupons and shortage of fertiliser in most districts.

He denies any wrong doing.
