Bullets FC coach Lloyd Nkhwazi says his team’s 2 – 1 win over Cobbe, which is his first victory since he took of the coaching role, is the beginning of better things to come.

Nkhwazi, who took over as caretaker coach from Gilbert Chirwa, has only managed draws in close to three games and was on cloud nine on Saturday to be on the winning side.

"It feels good to win and get maximum points. Being my first victory, am obviously excited,” he told reporters after the game at Kamuzu stadium.

He, however, conceded that they didn’t give out their best and had to come from behind to beat Cobbe.

Bullets: Get back to winning

“The team is still improving, we have a lot of youngsters and it will take time for them to jell in together but it's a good start,” he said.

In the game, former Wanderers midfielder Henry Kabichi also registered his first goal for the 'Peoples team' as he struck the winner on the dot of half time.

At Kalulu stadium, another new comer Leo Mpulula’s clean sheet as man in charge at Azam Tigers came to a halt courtesy of Diverson Chilemba’s brace for Wanderers.
