Wins for Silver, Nomads, BB, Embangweni

Mighty Wanderers blistering display handed Leo Mpulula his first defeat as coach of  Azam Tigers coach with a 2-1 margin down in the TNM Super League clash on Saturday.

The Nomads scored through Diverson Chilemba's brace  before the Kau-kau boys  scored one courtesy of Issac Maluwa.

It was vital three points for Nomads, according to coach Franco Ndawa .

“Tigers played entertaining football. What l told my boys was to use counter attack system, "said Ndawa.

Mpulula attributed poor defending as the reason for the loss.

Silver Strikers: Romp over Blantyre United

“We did not do well in defending, that is why we gave in those two goals, "said Mpulula, who promised to go on the market  in search of a defender when transfer window is open in October.

At Kamuzu Stadium, two goals from Godfrey Masunda and Henry Magetsi Kabichi were enough for Bullets FC  to silence Cobbe  Barracks by 2 scores to 1.

Elsewhere, Red Lions were stunned when they lost 1-0 to Embangweni United at Mzuz Stadium while in Dwangwa,  Mafco Fc shared points with the visiting defending champions Escom United 0-0.

At Area 47 in the capital Lilongwe, rampant Silver Strikers hammered  Blantyre United having to a 3-0 courtesy of Dave Moya, Harvey Nkacha and Tony Chitsulo.
