Why Do We Need Motor Car Registration Numbers?

The Motor Car Act 1903 came into force on January 1st 1904 requiring that all vehicles entered an official vehicle register. This act of law has now been ongoing for over one hundred years, for the safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians alike. This ordinary and daily legalisation enables vehicles that have been stolen or been involved in an accident can be easily traced in order for the appropriate action to be taken.
