In the last week we have seen biggest motorway collision in England's history, which has again emphasized the dangers motorways pose. This at a time when the government were looking at raising the speed limit, which now looks doubtful for good reasons. It's all too easy to forget the serious repercussions of such a collision, and for what? A few extra miles an hour and a few saved minutes?
